A 1970s earthenware sewer that kept blocking every winter.
- The problem
- Three blockages in eight months. The previous plumber jetted it each time and left. Our CCTV run found root intrusion through four cracked collars and a bellied section holding water.
- What we did
- We located and marked services, excavated the run by hand near the boundary trap, cut out the failed earthenware and re-laid the whole line in 100mm PVC on a compacted gravel bed with two new inspection points.
- The outcome
- Zero blockages since. Camera footage and as-laid measurements handed over for the property file, and the driveway re-poured to match.
